কোরআনে বর্ণিত রহস্যময় এক পাখি ‘আবাবিল‘ | PBC24TV

পাখি জগতের বৈচিত্র্যময় এক পাখির নাম আবাবিল। পবিত্র কুরআনে উল্লেখ থাকা পাখিটি সোয়ালো, ইউরোপে বার্ন সোয়ালো বা গোলাঘরের পাখি হিসেবেও পরিচিত। আবাবিলের অনেক প্রজাতি গাছের কোটর, গোলাঘর, আস্তাবল ইত্যাদি জায়গায় বাসা বাঁধে।

সাধারণভাবে এরা জলাভূমির কাছাকাছি থাকতে ভালোবাসে। এছাড়া ইউরোপ ও আমেরিকার পাখিগুলো পরিযায়ী হয়ে থাকে। শীত পড়লে এরা দীর্ঘপথ পাড়ি দিয়ে উষ্ণ অঞ্চলে আসে। তবে পশ্চিম ও দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকার মতো উষ্ণ অঞ্চলের আবাবিলরা জন্মস্থানেই কাটিয়ে দেয়।
